Semiconductor Nanotechnology, especially II-VI Semiconductors

Formation of Semiconductor Nanomaterials, using Organic Film Technology

Optical Characterisations, using various techniques, inclusing:

  • UV-visible spectroscopy, Photoluminescence spectroscopy, Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), ellipsometry
  • Electrical Characterisation: DC I-V Characteristics, AC Electrical measurements: Capacitance, Conductance, and Impedance measurements
  • Morphology Study: Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Scanning Tunnelling Microscopy (STM)

 

M.Phil Subject :

III-V Nitride and Posphide Semiconductors, including:

  • Growth of III-V Semiconductors, such as GaN, AlGaP, AlGaInP, using Metal Organic Chemical Vapour Deposition
  • Optical Characterisation: Various optical spectroscopy: Photoluminescence, Photoluminescence Excitation, Electroluminescence, Photocurrent
  • Eelctrical Characterisation: DC I-V Characteristics
